Mayweather Boxing has generously donated a full size official boxing ring to our organization for our youth programs. Your donations not only keep the lights on, but keep at-risk youth coming back and engaging in our program instead of out on the streets.
We don't just assist when people are in a crisis, we educate anyone wherever they are in their journey. Inspired by the adage, "If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime", Bishop Tony R. Caldwell understands this is more than a charity for the community, this education is pouring the foundation for a better community.
Whether it's overnight, emergency, long-term placement, or transitional housing, we've got you covered. Kansas City trusts our team of diverse experts with crisis housing for victims and community members in a crisis.
A 12-Step Program inspired by Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous (NA) is a safe space where individuals from both inside and outside our Church community can come together and share their experience, strength, and hope on their journey to sobriety. We are honored to house these meetings in our Church.
Our Youth Programs are some of our most important programs because we're not just giving an education or working with struggling kids, we're planting the seeds of a new foundation among our leaders of tomorrow.
We care for our Kansas City Seniors! Delivering hot meals & groceries, providing expert healthcare in the way of certified medical professionals, transportation to and from appointments, and organizing activities are only some of the ways we make every moment with our seniors count.

Justice & Dignity Center combats educational inequity by providing Black students in Kansas City’s underserved neighborhoods with more than just school supplies—though every child receives brand-new backpacks, uniforms, and tech kits. Our wraparound approach pairs these essentials with free tutoring from culturally competent educators, trauma-informed mentorship from program alumni, and access to our Votech Academy’s career exploration workshops. Recognizing systemic barriers, we also offer family support: utility bill assistance to stabilize households, parenting workshops, and trauma counseling to address the stress of poverty. For students in our crisis housing program, we ensure seamless enrollment with school liaisons who advocate for their needs. By investing in both immediate resources and long-term skill-building, we’ve helped 92% of participating students improve grades and 78% pursue higher education—proving poverty isn’t destiny when community lifts as it gives.

We operate as a critical ally of the Kansas City Police Department in combating human trafficking, with law enforcement routinely referring survivors to our certified crisis housing programs. Kansas City serves as an underrecognized trafficking hub, accounting for nearly 1 in 5 Midwestern trafficking cases according to 2023 FBI data. Our trauma-informed Safe Place Program provides survivors with free 90-day residencies featuring counseling, legal advocacy, and job training, funded entirely through community donations. With an 83% success rate in transitioning survivors to stable independence, we’ve become the region’s most trusted rehabilitation partner – so valued that KCPD detectives now train using our crisis house protocols to better support victims during interventions.

Every toy you donate through Justice & Dignity Center does more than spark holiday joy—it reinforces our proven commitment to breaking cycles of hardship. While national Toys for Tots programs spread goodwill, ours uniquely pairs gifts with wraparound support: a child receiving a toy also gains access to our youth mentorship, crisis housing for families, and educational resources. Local donations stay local, directly uplifting Kansas City kids who’ve seen their parents rebuild lives through our job training or addiction recovery programs. Your gift becomes part of a larger safety net, ensuring no child feels forgotten and every family knows their community stands with them. With Bishop Caldwell’s 25-year track record of accountability, you can trust your donation will reach those who need it most—right here, right now.
