For the past 21 years, Grandma Janice Clark has been a dedicated champion for children in Kansas City, helping ensure students start the school year with the supplies they need to succeed. What began as support for grandparents raising children has grown into a long-standing community effort that has helped thousands of children each August at the start of the school year.

Her outreach extends to children whose parents may be unable to provide support due to incarceration or involvement in the criminal justice system, ensuring that no child is left behind because of circumstances beyond their control. Through compassion, consistency, and selfless service, Grandma Janice has made a lasting impact on generations of Kansas City youth.
